This has to be the best Chinese in barrow, the food is really nice, in fact every time my son comes from Manchester he comes here for their salt pepper chips, I don't think they are on barrow eats but they do deliver if you phone.cash only.

Traditional fish and chips shop that also has a small assortment of Chinese noodle dishes for takeaway. The thing that sets the anchor fish bar apart from the rest is the curry sauce, which is the best I have ever had! As a result, I highly recommend chips with curry sauce and a battered sausage! The staff is friendly and very hard working!

Went here a couple of times while in the area and food was really good taste and value. I couldn't believe the size of the salt and pepper box. Came in a pizza box and was jam packed with food! Fish and chips were also delicious

I'm always a littl dubious when Chinese takeaways advertise as a normal chippy, but I found myself in Barrow and in need of some fast food and Anchor provided a delicious solution! Fish and chips were fabulous, staff friendly and no wait time. Next time I will try something from the Chinese menu. Very reasonably priced as well.
